Babies and Bunnies... does it get any better than this? I have to admit, this photo shoot
was a bit FRANTIC! I have started going to a new place called Portraits2Go - where you actually get to take your own photos-
- a big bonus for a photo buff like me! They have live bunnies as part of their Easter/Spring props this spring.
WOW! Let me tell you how ecited the girls were! Little Julia was so enthralled with the baby bunny that she squeezed
it nearly to death! (Well, till it pooped anyway!) Oh well, in the end it was alllll worth it!
Julia turned one in January and is still full of surprises. She might actually keep me
on my toes more than her twin sisters did TOGETHER! She began walking about a week after her birthday - the day AFTER
her bday party, of course! Once she figured out that she could get from here to there on her little feet, she has been
motorin' ever since! She gets into EVERYTHING, and has quite the temper when she doesn't get what she wants. hmmmmnn...
hahaha I hear you all!
Kaitlyn and Caroline turned 5 in December and are wonderful big sisters - Kaitlyn is Mommy #2,
and altho Caroline has told me on several occassions that two girls was better and easier - she is extremely proud and protective
of Julia, and is coming around to the Big Sister thing.
I feel like we have been running non-stop since last winter.... the girls keep us hopping between
pre-school, playdates, dance, and gymnastics lessons. I have been trying to take some time to teach them piano
here and there. They both have a great love of music. Kaitlyn shows great interest in the piano and Caroline has
a naturally pitch perfect voice. Yes, I am already looking for an agent and a recording company! This summer the
girls will be playing t-ball on a team with several of their buddies from pre-k. I am looking forward to the entertainment
value!
We have also been busy with our typical travel plans to see family and friends. Several
trips to NOVA and a wonderful visit to (the much sunnier and warmer state) South Carolina to visit Eric's Sister and Brother-in-law
for the holidays. Eric and I are now gearing up for our "belated" 10th Anniversary trip. A year late still counts,
right? We will be going to England for a week this summer - and we will be going to see U2 in concert while we are there.
I am so excited I can hardly stand it!
Well, I don't have as much time to be as long winded as possible, and I figure I should leave
some room for photos!
Hope all is well with all of you!
